Most developed nations have managed to decrease the ghg-intensity per dollar in their economies. Canada has been improving this measure about 1% per year. The USA has done almost 50% better. The EU-27 has improved 75% more than Canada. Canada will need to do far better in coming years if they hope to meet international ghg targets without excess harm to its economy.
