Canadian Provincial GHG per dollar by Barry Saxifrage
Canada has agreed to cut around a quarter of their GHG emissions in the next ten years. There is a huge range between the provinces for how much ghg is emitted per dollar added to the Canadian economy. For example, Alberta emits five times more dirty emission for each loonie it produces compared to Ontario. Maintaining economic stability while cutting emissions will require a national effort to quickly slash the nation's ghg intensity per dollar.
