Here's an updated UK v Canada chart that includes just released (April 2020) projections. Since 1990 the U.K. reduced climate pollution by 38% while Canadians increased ours. That allowed the U.K. to hit ambitious targets, while Canada missed wildly. I argue that Canada needs to adopt UK-style Carbon Budget Law to get unstuck and start making climate progress.
